Timber!!

Wow, my first post. Never thought I'd get onto the blogging bandwagon, but here I am. I'm hoping this will be a way for relatives and friends to keep up with our sometimes crazy lives and the everyday blessings that occur.

Speaking of crazy...we recently had a tree tragedy in our yard. We had a very windy day and Timber! down came part of a very large tree onto our roof. We were lucky it didn't do any damage. Neil and my Dad ended up taking the rest of the tree down because it looked like it could fall with the next gust of wind. Needless to say I'm pretty sure OSHA would not have approved of their method. But no one was maimed or injured (with the exception of my flowers in the front yard, sob) so I guess it was chalked up to a good day. Unfortunately though Neil and the kids were unable to make it down to Preston, MN for his Aunt Elaine's funeral. I know he was there in his thoughts wishing everyone well. I was able to make it up to Hinckley, MN for the MS 150 in the afternoon rather than the butt-crack of dawn. I've volunteered at the high school for the past 5 or 6 years now unloading luggage and doing massage. My friend Reggie who got me started, announced after 25 years that this would be his last. I'm not sure his little band of recruits will carry on without him, I guess we'll see what next year brings. Thanks Reg for some great 150 memories. I'll see ya in August for MS Camp!!

Here are a couple pictures of Joe with the Dancing Robot he made from the Supercharged Science electricity pack.
