We recently acquired 2 beautiful piggies. Payton is going to raise them for 4-H with the intention of selling one at the Quality Meat Auction in July. Payton named the sow Charolette and Joe named the barrow Curly. I think Joe will be able to show Curly but he's not old enough to sell just yet. We had the official weigh-in on April 18th and am pleased to say that they both made weight, which means they weren't over 100 lbs. Charolette weighed 89 lbs and Curly was a bit smaller at 66 lbs. We're hoping to get them to about 250-275 by the end of July.
