I think I just got smacked in the head by Christmas instead of a frisbee. I know it's been sneaking up...I just didn't realize how fast...until...SMACK!!! Dang its next week. I am not ready. What happened...again??? Time has somehow marched on again without me and I am now in semi-panic mode. Almost done with Christmas shopping, just a few things left, but I haven't done anything else. I have presents but nothing to wrap them in, no idea what we are doing for dinner this year, haven't made a single truffle, no idea what I'm bring to this party or that, no Christmas cards planned yet, do the kids need to be dressed up for the Christmas play?? Ahhhh! I've been so busy and by looking at my calendar, continue to be well into next week. So I've decided to let a few things go in order to keep my sanity intact. I will let the small stuff go and focus on what is truly important-family, friends, love, peace and remembering Christ is why we are together. So, no truffles this year (way too time consuming), prepare for New Year's cards instead, possibly a lot of hot dogs being brought to parties and I hope no one minds gifts wrapped in toilet paper. Time to go make sure we all at least have clean underwear, always important no matter the time of year.
A journal of everyday blessings, craziness, laughs, blah, blah, blah...
